I can’t seem to stop posting about Marvel movies and shows lately 🙂 ABC has so far been successful with its two tie-ins to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. and Marvel’s Agent Carter. It’s only natural for them to keep at it, this time with more superheroes!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. already introduced us to Inhumans, a group of humans that possess some Kree DNS and have the ability to gain various super powers. Over the last 3 seasons of the show we’ve discovered many Inhumans, and they’ve been an important part of the plot.
In September, they’ll be getting their own show, Marvel’s Inhumans!
Of course, Iwan Rheon will be a villain of course, seems like he can’t escape from that since Game Of Thrones (also I must say I still see him as the kid from Misfits)!
I’m sure we’ll see references to other MCU characters in many episodes, but I wonder if we’ll also see some characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cross over for a few episodes or even become regulars on this new show.
To be honest, I’m not impressed by the trailer. I expected more, both from the visuals and from the main character. It’s probably a bad idea to look at the comics’ version:
Looking at the show’s IMDb page, I saw that the showrunner Scott Buck also worked on Marvel’s Iron Fist. That doesn’t sound too promising to me… 🙁
I guess we’ll find out in September…
