WordPress, TV Series, music, kids, and board games. I think that’s probably the best way to define me in a few words. 🙂

I work at Automattic where I lead a team building tools for bloggers and creators. I talk a lot about WordPress things, but also about all things open source in general.

I post in English and in French.

After the previous episode I was starting to wonder where the show was going, and I wasn’t sure about the pacing of the story.

Now I am still not sure where this is going, but this was certainly different pacing! There was a lot in this episode, it’s hard to pick what was best! Some things stood out to me though:

  • Mr Milchik’s “atonement”. This was rough to watch, especially that self talk! This was very well acted! 👏
  • Irvin’s dinner. I really like John Noble (I am a Fringe fan), this was no exception. That’s a good addition to the cast, and that was quite the trio of actors. I am on the fence about the outcome of the dinner though: I wanted it to provide answers, and it’s given us even more questions instead. I need answers at this point of the season, not the beginning of another plotline! 🙂
  • Helly and Mark’s relationship at work. That was a difficult subject, I think they handled it well. The way they brought it up, discomfort, the smiles afterwards, …
  • Helly’s machiavelic outtie. This was truly disconcerting.
  • Mark’s outtie experiments are not for the faint of heart!
  • Dylan’s relationship with his wife is complicated, but really well handled I think. I can feel for all parts involved.
  • I didn’t understand the scene with someone looking at Severance documents with Dylan’s name on it. Who / where was that? Are we supposed to know?

Now let’s get some answers in the next episode though!

@jeremy i thought it was irving who was looking at the documents, but it was confusing.

@[email protected] @[email protected] the person in Irving’s apartment was Drummond, the other Lumon board member.

He was snooping around while Irv was at Burt’s dinner. Suspicious!
