Adri and I have enjoyed The Crown series on Netflix. It’s drama at its finest, with great actors. And, as with many good shows in the past few years, the score was really nice! I’ve enjoyed the music for the whole 6 seasons. It was often used to anchor the viewer in the right time, and although the themes could be repetitive, they had to given that we were following the same characters for decades 🙂
Most of you who have watched the show would recognize and expect me to post the main theme. Instead, I chose the last track and ended up listening to it on repat today. It’s a rendition of “Sleep Dearie Sleep”, the traditional Scottish lament that was played at the Queen’s funeral.
