WordPress, TV Series, music, kids, and board games. I think that’s probably the best way to define me in a few words. 🙂

I work at Automattic where I lead a team building tools for bloggers and creators. I talk a lot about WordPress things, but also about all things open source in general.

I post in English and in French.

I live in Brittany, France, so you’ll also find me sharing pictures from our beautiful region from time to time.

That said, I think there is something we don’t mention enough, and where we should do a better job. One can use many different editors to publish to a WordPress site (regardless of where it is hosted). I wish folks would know that option is available to them. I’m sure many would find an editor that fits their needs, and that they may even prefer to the classic or the block editor.

In fact, looking at our support docs we don’t even mention that option (I’ve passed on that feedback). We could be mentioning a few examples there. Here are a few that come to mind:

Aha, nice find! I’ll see that we update both support docs with updated info, and we could link one to the other.
