@davew has been working on a new editor for WordPress, called WordLand. It is « a focused and fast editor for writers who use WordPress« .

The editor works well out of the box! If you have a WordPress.com site or a site using the Jetpack plugin, you can apply to be an early evaluator and tester by filling out this form.
